Hai C. Tan, AIA | 1969 Original Design

In his contribution to California architecture, Hai Chuen Tan designed within the midcentury milieu. He blazed trails among a handful of Asian architects who worked during his era, establishing his self-named firm in Fullerton circa 1963 and joining the esteemed American Institute of Architects. The founding principal of Anderson Architects LA, Anthony Anderson’s interest in design started at an early age. He earned a degree in civil engineering at Columbia University in New York, then moved to Los Angeles for his graduate studies at SCI-Arc.
